What to Expect

  • This is when we will take an intentional moment to ground ourselves into this space, call in our intentions, and bless it through our collective prayer. Moving forward this will be a sacred space that will be treated with respect and care for the natural environment and those who occupy the space.

  • During this time, you will get to meet some of the organizing co-creators behind the event from Island CultureZ, Sage and Lavender Collective, and Symbiotic Creations. We will also inform community members of the plans we have for the herbal garden space and will open the floor to feedback we gather from the audience that may be implemented on the land.

  • Participants will be able to enjoy a short break and refreshments.

  • You will have the opportunity to see how raised beds are constructed to replicate at your home or other community grow space.

  • Don’t worry, we will also give you basic tips on how you can begin your herbal garden and be able to take a seed growing kit home.
